By the time Brownpaw returned with Thunderstar, Whitepelt had dragged the white tom by his scruff halfway to camp. Thunderstar helped Whitepelt the rest of the way, back to camp, and into the medicene cat den. Luckily Leafstorm and Songbreeze had just returned from sharing tounges with Starclan.
Once Whitepelt saw the medicene cats she meowed, "Songbreeze! Leafpaw! We-"
"It's Leafstorm now," interupted Leafstorm.
"Congrats! But you've got to help Redfoot and Brownpaw! We were attacked by a badger!" Brownpaw's flank was bleeding heavily. She was losing a lot of blood but not as much as Redfoot. He had a gash on his forehead and two wounds on his flank.
"Ok Leafstorm get the poppy seed, cobweb, marigold and put some borage aside for later. I have a feeling, " meowed Songbreeze. Leafstorm nodded and padded away obviously understanding what she meant while Whitepelt couldn't figure it out. Leafstorm returned with the herbs and gave some to Songbreeze. Songbreeze started applying the marigold to Brownpaw's wounds while Leafstorm worked on Redfoot. By the time Leafstorm finished Whitepelt was asleep beside Redfoot who was also asleep and Songbreeze was giving Brownpaw some thyme before she fell asleep.
